It is my first day of the year ritual to visit this church, you get a key for every wish and if your wish comes true, must return the key. Only open on the first day of each month. So peaceful 🙏🏻
Located in the midst of an entertainment hub, it is fast-food style restaurant although the service is not that fast. I tried the grilled seabream which was pretty decent.
It is a lovely hotel in a historic area of Istanbul. I love the rooftop restaurant. The food is great and the view is simply spectacular. More than often they play jazz (not live)
The gallery is on the second and third floors of a historic building. Quite small and compact, they have very interesting exhibitions. The people working at the gallery are just so pleasant

It is a small and cosy theatre. The columns unfortunately allow limited visibility to far corner seats. The acoustic is fine. There is a car park free to theatre goers.
Definitely the museum with the best view in Istanbul. The permanent collection is not huge but very rich. Temporary collections are always wonderful. Parking lot is very small.

I esprcially enjoy the “çıtır mantı” which is basically crisp ravioli with yoghurt and sauce. The special dessert is ice cream sandwiched between waffle with raspberry sauce
A quick stop fish restaurant, popular with the locals. They pretty much offer whatever is in season. Clean and delicious.
