- The drinks and food are a perfect pairing. The food is relatively inexpensive, high-quality, liquor-absorbing and, most importantly, comes out at the pace of cocktails—within a few minutes of ordering
- It's a huge pain in the ass to go here for dinner if you don't have a reservation. Go early or very late (kitchen is open till midnight), or go for brunch and get the gobsmacking french toast.
- EaterJanuari 18, 2017This Mission hotspot is always packed, with good reason. The menu is rife with antipasti, pizzas, pastas, risottos, and rotating daily specials like cioppino and short ribs. Baca selanjutnya
- TK-421Juli 6, 2021AJ makes some damn good drinks. The meatballs are damn good, and on the whole the food is great. Very friendly and efficient staff, but sadly no tips on that missing R2 unit.
- Vivek VenkatramFebruari 18, 2019Hipster Italian joint turning out really tasty thin-crust pizza, amazing small plates and fantastic craft cocktails continues to be the go-to spot for launching a night out in the Mission.
- BommyFebruari 1, 2016Walnut bread with burrata & mushroom-truffle honey is fantastic. Try the gnocchi with porcini & smoked pancetta, plus the funghi & panna risotto. Paloma cocktail is very grapefruity so go for diablo.
- Candace VillanuevaMei 9, 2017The cocktails are fantastic. The carpaccio was delicious & traditional. The risotto not so much. We had two different risotto entrees & they were both boring & flat.
- Andrew LamJuli 15, 2013The food is amazing, the cocktails are refined, and it's open way late for us night owls. Try gnocchi with pancetta, saffron risotto with osso bucco, or any pizza. NB last call for food is 1am nightly
- Heena KaraniJuli 7, 2016Hands down this place has amazing food. Really popular & can see why. Order the broccolini & the spicy pizza with burrata. Service is great too. Just a shame they don't have wifi.
- 67taraMaret 17, 2017Best cesar salad and herb onion bread, the asparagus risotto was great for dinner and the tiramisu was wonderful for dessert!
- The Friday lasagna special and saffron risotto with osso bucco are both delicious. Can't go wrong with any of the pizzas either. There's a "hidden" cocktail list but the regular ones are also tasty.
- MLOOktober 26, 2014Great food. The Panna gelato with olive oil and sea salt is not to be kissed. Great cocktails and babies who DJ on their iPads make this one of SF's best tables.
- Get a Diablo cocktail to start. MUST try the burrata and walnut bread + the squid ink risotto.
- Daniel MejiaSeptember 13, 2018The walnut bread was great and the margherita burrata (I added prosciutto) was also really good.
- EaterApril 13, 2016Beretta's weekend brunch menu offers special cocktails, new dishes and a "brunch punch." This refreshing seasonal cauldron of booze changes weekly, and is $8 per glass during brunch. Baca selanjutnya
- Bridget GaelFebruari 5, 2022One of our best meals in SF! Loved the fiore vodka cocktail, meatballs, burrata & walnut bread, broccolini, and bartenders pizza. If you like tiramisu, this was as good as it comes.
- Ashok LalwaniMei 2, 2015I would go to this rest. for their delicious antipasti anytime. Our favorites were Walnut bread burrata, fava bean bruschetta. Fungi vegetarian pizza was perfect too. It is a bit loud though.
- Natalie KFebruari 28, 2017This restaurant was AMAZEBALLS. Things to definitely get: crab arancini, broccolini, one of the risottos, one of the pizzas. Cocktails are also fantastic. Great date night spot!
- The cherry tomato pizza with pesto was the best, after a round of perfect appetizers: piquillo peppers, dungeness arancini, and fried cauliflower
- Jessica LlanesNovember 16, 2013Such a fun place for a late night bite. Friendly service and fabulous food. Meatballs, Brussels sprouts, gnocchi & beef carpaccio were all delish. Small servings on antipasto but fun to mix and match.
- Try the Funghi and Truffled Panna Risotto - #kvpinmybelly Decadent, late-night meal after work. Rich, creamy and cheesy. Nice woody notes from the mushrooms
- San Francisco has a consistent style of Italian food among it's many great Italian restaurants but Beretta is probably my favorite. I like the cocktails, meatballs and spicy Italian sausage pizza.
- If you're there on Friday get the lasagne bolognese. And the bread w/mushroom and honey even if you aren't into mushrooms. And the meatballs! Katie is the best waitress I've had (at any restaurant).
- Ivy LivelyAgustus 2, 2019Focaccia with a side of truffle honey/burrata & gnocchi w/ porcini was amazing! Pizza, mushroom risotto & sweet potato fries were just ok
- Meghana DharAgustus 2, 2013Everything is superb, especially the eggplant caponatina w/ burrata, fava bean bruschetta, gnocchi, dungeness crab arancini. But srsly-- the budino di cioccolato is the best dessert I've had in SF

- Michael LunøeDesember 11, 2016Pro tip: order a lot of starters (antipasti) and share a pizza. Cocktails here are really good, but you should expect a line.
- What do say about beretta? It might be my favorite restaurant in San Francisco. The reasons: great food, great brunch, great mixed drinks, great wine, great service, open till 1 am, sustainable, hip.
- Get the off-menu "bartender's special" pizza. Burrata, sausage, peppers, and spicy marinara.
- VegNews MagazineAgustus 30, 2012For fine (but trendy) dining, Beretta can't be beat. This cozy restaurant has some of the best cocktails in the city, and will substitute vegan cheese or sausage onto any of their killer pizzas.
- Go off hours. Get the eggplant appetizer and any pizzas. The basil cocktail is super interesting. Great drinks. Too busy at night.

- Lively atmosphere, great cocktails and food with some outdoor seating when the weather is nice.
- Jenna Odett LaskinJuni 22, 2012They don't take reservations, but do offer call-aheads. The cocktails are awesome. my favorite small plate is the walnut bread, burrata, truffle tapenade, and honey. Salads are big. Skip bruschetta.
- ValMaret 28, 2018Ask for the vegan menu. They usually have 3-5 starters, a couple salads and a pizza. Vegan cheese (FYH I think) and vegan chorizo.
- Emily RoseMaret 13, 2015Bird menu is the best menu. Find a bird you identify (for the day)with and drink designated cocktail. You will find yourself.
- Need some heat on your pizza? Do like the northern Italians and skip the red pepper flakes and ask for a side of spicy olive oil. Drizzle and enjoy!
- Raj S.Agustus 26, 2014My oh my. Gnocchi. Arancini with crab. Ask for the pepper oil on the side if you want to add some spice to your pizza; all of them are well worth it.
- Jimmy HookerAgustus 7, 2014A hip italian spot in the Mission, everything was good. Expect more conservative portions relative to other italian places. Worth the visit, but get a reservation on Fri/Sat.

- Michael GoodeApril 11, 2015This place is simply amazing! I could come here every night. First, do not be afraid to ask for the "a field guide to the birds" drink menu. Calamari pizza is 💣 as F, apps crab cakes & eggplant nom

- Tone MosleyAgustus 2, 2017Great spot food good but even for a Midweek it was loud inside can't imagine weekend. Big bonus the kitchen is open Late.
- Pei 👻 WenAgustus 4, 2016Bread, bread, and bread! I would recommend a family-style meal with appetizers and pizzas, instead of ordering entrees. Great cocktail menu too!
