Be sure to visit the 4th floor cafe. The views alone are worth it. I'd imagine this is a phenomenal event space.

The round interactive timeline map on the first floor is totally worth spending time with. Tons of great stories embedded in displays here, so read the wall text!

Interesting history, but presented in a way that was a bit overwhelming. Time lapse of Wallabout Bay on the first floor was cool.

Designed by Philadelphia architect Thomas U. Walter in 1857., Building 92 now houses exhibits on the Brooklyn Navy Yard’s two centuries of military and industrial history.

On 11/10/11, I was here for the opening of this $25 million exhibition & visitors center, which will also house the Navy Yard's expanded employment program to create local jobs: http://bit.ly/rYT3m5
