Erika Rae Wulfert: Beautiful city with lots of waterfalls outside of the city (20,000vnd to enter each) can rent a motorbike and go by yourself or take a tour. Visit crazy house and maze bar.
Erika Rae Wulfert: Interesting place, juggling, pool, billiards and a bar. The rooms are not anything to brag about. 100 thai baht for a good breakfast. Good view of Pai. Downside: dark road late at night.

Erika Rae Wulfert: Beautiful large Buddha. Lots of stairs to walk up, but you get amazing views of Pai. Make sure to dress appropriately for temples and places of worship.
Erika Rae Wulfert: Pretty basic hostel, but the beds are proper twin sized and not bunk beds. Free cold water, and a street up from the main walking street.
Erika Rae Wulfert: Really comfy beds, and great location. The owner is around a lot and is just the nicest man, will sit and have a chat with you over a beer.

Erika Rae Wulfert: Make sure you have your departure slip. If you lose it they will give you another one but you are supposed to go to the police and report it lost/stolen.
Erika Rae Wulfert: As you walk to the waterfall the bear park is on the right. Moon bears are laying in hammocks and playing. The bears were rescued from bile farms.
Erika Rae Wulfert: Very interesting museum about the bombings during the war and how they are helping victims of the war/post war. Free admission but proceeds go towards helping amputees and keeping the program running.
Erika Rae Wulfert: Walking street with big night market, lots of clothes and souvenirs. Not much food stalls. There is a nice view of the river for sunset.
