Lines are not short during Spring Break. They aren't as long as a major hub, but you should plan to arrive 60-90 minutes prior to your flight the middle of March - end of April.

Nope, there isn't much to do and it feels very small...but that's why you get off your plane and are 100 feet from ground transport - easiest airport around.
When being picked up at the STL airport, its easier to meet your ride on the upper level after you get your luggage. Both the elevator and the escalator are handy and its not a lot of walking.

At GSP it doesn't take much time at all to get through ticketing, security and to the gate. If you're carrying on, you can literally get here 20 minutes before your flight and be fine.

For transborder flights, U.S. Customs pre-clearance is a breeze out of Montréal (as opposed to Toronto-Pearson), just aim for a late morning or early afternoon departure when the queues are lightest.
US departure section has nothing in it - just a crappy coffee shop. Go through customs as late as you can. Chicago and Philly flight often delayed/cancelled, check online before leaving home
PEI Tourism has a staffed booth as soon as you get off the plane into arrivals - maps, brochures and friendly advice!
The service in the on-site non-secured restaurant is often slow. If you're in a hurry to grab a bite with the family before your flight out, don't plan on being in and out!

When it goes wrong here, it it often does, don't take it out on the agents. They are doing a job. The industry sucks, not the people on the front line who may do be your neighbor.

Air China lounge is out of the immigration counter. It's not quiet. If you want to use wifi, you have to get the password at the front desk.
