Judging by most of the people in here, it seems to be a good place to study and/or do work. That being said, their espresso and brownies are delightful. Enjoy it on their bench outside or in the park.
Great place to relax and watch boats on a sunny day. Stay away from the fried food, but the sandwiches and salad are suprisingly delicious. PROTIP: 1/2 beer + 1/2 smirnoff ice = patio nirvana.
I get my hair cut by Karyn who is great with short men's hair. Everyone does pretty well here though, from what I can tell. Say of course you should say "yes" to the handwax, you dummy!
Great underserved bar on Queen Street. Come for the cheap beers (cheapest in the City IMHO), and stay for the chicken sliders. They also make a mean old-fashioned! Say hi to Kate the owner, of course.
It's hard to find non-fried food here, so if you want to eat healthy you better bring snacks or come full. That being said, I really enjoyed Just'a'Meatballs in the food court (I recommend Swedish).
What a great B&B! Make sure you say hi to Delilah, and peruse their selection of good board games (I recommend Munchkin). You can also book cooking classes with Rebecca.
What an amazing theatre! You didn't hear this from me, but keep an eye out for empty seats during the first half of your play, then sneak down and grab said empty seats after intermission. SHHH!!!
Great value for soft serve ice cream - seriously it was like ~$3.50 for a large! Didn't try the bacon peanut brittle but it's hard to see how you could go wrong.
Do you like to eat? We'll if so, come to Urban Herbivore. Their salads are MASSIVE. Try them with pickled kimchi, homegrown "mungsprouts", or dill-covered cucumber. The stews looked great too.
Great beach! Lots of grass space, free (clean) toilets, and wide areas for some good play time. Drive or bike here... Or even better, bring the boat and throw down the anchor.
Thai Islamic (Pad Thai w Red Curry) is a good off menu item. Also, if you're a white person like me, you can handle 5 or so chilis. Going "medium" is way too mild. Have fun experimenting here!
Great lunch deals. I prefer the monstrous house salad with chicken breast ($8 incl tax) but the soup and wraps look pretty good too.
A classic hall on Spadina, and it's small enough for a real intimate show. Real nasty floors though so wear closed toed shoes.
For a steakhouse, they've got great fish dishes. Impress your friends and try the cod.
Before you leave this tasty establishment, ask to see the wine cellar in the basement.

Huge portions. If there's two of you, just split one steak! Don't be a hero, save your money.
Real tasty steaks. Probably best value in Toronto for a good steak dinner. I recommend also the shrimp cocktail.

Surprisingly good food, so get in before the club crowd hits. If you're there late, find a spot as far back as possible to stay out of the lanes of people traffic - it gets busy!
