No longer owned by strip club across the street. Selection of clams/mussels in white wine garlic sauce was excellent. Not cheap but if you stick to fresh seafood you’re in for a treat! Good service.
Well priced (drinks & apps + 2 rounds of sushi for 2pp: €70). Drink selection is too limited (3 options, no cocktails or sake). Effectively a glorified biz lunch spot, works for simple dinner dates.
Maurice is an incredibly welcoming PA for Dennis. Dennis himself: booked 2 months out, but get lucky via waitlist. He spent an hr w/ the scissors—worked magic for me. Best cut I’ve had in a long time!
Ceviche: A+. Octopus “risotto”: A++! Service is genuine & attentive but forgetting. A decent place for a random midweek backup.
Large, juicy burger. This OG location serves the best. Pleasantly surprisingly good service. Worth the wait!
Probably the last McD's on highways btwn Cairo & Alexandria or Marsa Matruh (we passed 3+ shut down). McChicken & nuggets were excellent. Relatively empty & clean. Good stop on the way home from Siwa.
Loved the direct street access of Room 15. The contactless checkin was seamless. Pillig: a tiny, sleepy town, perfect to clear your head & explore the natural surroundings. No cell service whatsoever!
Omakase is worth it (although everything is, not surprisingly, Nobu style… saucy). Cocktails are comically expensive, 25€ each. Amazing view & decent service. Expect €250+ per person all-in.
Just about any (relatively small) dish is btwn €1 (veg) & €3 (meat). For the price & quality, a great, humble, cafeteira-style spot for lunch or dinner; a staple for anyone on a tight budget.
In a small village lives one of the best meals I’ve had in Cuba. 200 pesos (€6) for nearly every dish, freshly sourced from sea or backyard garden. Seafood paella, mixed platter, & cigs: 500 pesos.
Honestly one of the chillest bars I’ve been to in the world. Amazing, diverse, creative, & flamboyant drinks; honest & genuinely interested service; & great hiphop/r&b music. Might need a reservation.
Service is refined & attentive. Impressive wine list. Quality of food is high. Relatively pricey (avg dish is >€20; table for 2 w/ btl of wine was €250). Great space! Will be back.
Food is excellent, & the wine list is decently sized w/ some great choices. Expect to spend €50+ pp on food. Very friendly service. Gets fully booked on Fri/Sat, otherwise not difficult to walk in.
Very approachable. Not cheap, but well priced for the quality. Easily caters to any eater, whether you want a steak, a fish filet, or a vegan bowl. Reminds me of an American brasserie. ~The Smith NYC.
