Go during the week to avoid the crowds. This is a cable wakepark right next to The Stockyards. Avg cost $25-$30 for a few hours including equipment.
This lake is usually calm and ripe for water skiing and wakeboarding. Less crowded than other lakes in the area.
Eagle Mountain Lake is beautiful. Huge lake with incredible homes all around it. Great place to watch 4th of July fireworks.

Well this is in Arlington, but really. Do I really have to tell you how much fun it is to go here? Avoid crowds and heat if possible.
Paintball, ziplines, motocross. This place has it all and is an incredible getaway up 35. Bring a sense of adventure with you.
This is one of Fort Worth's hidden gems. $5 go-kart rides. I always stop here on my way home from Joe T Garcias. It's way too much fun.
