Food is exceptional quality, especially given it's halal. Prices are a little high but portions are big

Stick to traditional appams (plain, egg, cheese) or with firm toppings. This ground peanut one $2.80 looks nice on pic, but messy to eat, as it spills everywhere
“Hidden” restaurant with kind of fusion food. Spicy chicken was nice. Overall a bit high priced. A/C is too strong though.
Pretty good abalone noodles. Perfect for a supper spot, but parking might be a little hard to get. Chilli is a little on the spicy side.
Must try their Mee Siam. Not to sour and very appetizing
NL rice super fragrant & tasty. Sambal decent: could have more complexity. 3 tiny ikan bilis slivers. Begadil tasty; good texture. Chicken a bit tough, barely crispy (lightly breaded) but flavorful.
Excellent fried hokkien mee. Super tasty and rich, very prawny, just the right degree of wetness, and lots of wok hei flavour. Can't go wrong with the signature dish. (The kopi isn't great though.)
Love the selection, & the freshness of seafood. Reservedly for special occasions, the quality of the meal embarks on a modern adventure to recovering lost palates & honing homegrown tastebuds alike.
Good value. You get a lot of Toppings and they're varied - besides char siew, wanton and vegetable it includes mushroom and Crispy wanton skin (it's not fried wanton)
Run by Uncle Teo's Nephew. Same taste as the good lor mee that used to be in Bukit Purmei
