Had a great stay! Didn't have the issues others did, beds where fine, hot water plentiful, staff friendly, and rooms clean...everything I wanted/needed.
When you check in ask for a corner room. Tell them you MIGHT want a rollaway bed so you need the extra room, however you can open the window and climb out on the fire escape and smoke some good bud.
JourdanMei 7, 2011Touted as a boutique hotel, the Hotel Bijou should leave it to those who do it best. The neighborhood is seedy at best and while the staff is pleasant that's where the niceties end.

Decent for a cheapish non-luxury hotel that allows cats. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very accessible to shops, subway and cafes- JourdanMei 7, 2011No ac in the rooms, the hot water self regulates going between boiling hot & SF bay icy & dont make the mistake of using a free razor unless you feel like living the shower scene from Psycho.
Samira GonzalezFebruari 15, 2017El hotel está bien, pero si solo vienen a lo turístico, NO lo recomiendo (Pier 39, Golden Gate), ya que está lejos. NO tiene estacionamiento y estacionarse a los alrededores cuesta 40 dlls la noche.
Ask for a minibar in the room. It may be worthy, even there is an ice machine on 2nd floor

Here over Halloween and I swear room 308 had ghosts, I kept seeing things out of the corner my eyes.
