With so many food options, walk thru the entire market before deciding on what you want. It gets really crowded on weekends so you may want to plan on taking your food up to the High Line to eat.
A gelato treat like you probably haven't tried before. The gelato is on a stick and you have have it "topped" with various toppings or dipped in chocolate... or both!
Do not miss visiting the High Line while you are in NYC. There is no reason not to check it out, even if you've been there before.
If you are going to visit a Shake Shack, this is your best bet. The line usually isn't crazy long and there's a nice courtyard area you can sit and eat at. A good option before/after visiting the Met.
