Nice stop after driving the winding roads. If you're lucky you can spot Dolphins or whales!
Head up the staircase on the left and go straight through the tree canopy. At the end you will see quite possibly most massive tree in Hawaii. Definitely the most interesting thing at this stop.

The Tavern is a dive bar, but what makes it great is the bands that perform there. The Halloween bash is great. The current kitchen is good, the wings are awesome. The drink specials are not bad.
Excellent coffee. Great sandwiches, build your own, which is helpful for vegetarians.
Wonderfully friendly staff who are passionate about good coffee. They offer a free sampling all their amazing coffee and a free tour of the coffee farm. If lucky, you'll get avocados and guava :)
This is a great snorkeling beach, crowded yes but so worth it. The water is calm making this location perfect for all ages. Many fish, urchins & sea turtles to be seen here. :)
Pretty white sand beach with shaded picnic table areas, food, and rentals a bit higher up. Saw some sea turtles!
Favorite place in the big island. Come near sunset, (we came around 5:30 in mid-September).
The bosses reel in fresh ahi in the morning, and that's what is served for the day. Always fresh, always local, always delicious.
