Get the black label done medium bc getting it rare takes away from the incrdibleness of the cooked flavor. Do get the marrowappetizer and eat it w/the onions. Go to heaven. Thank me later.
We have been there a number of time today the food and the service were really bad. Bar was not active fries were soggy salmon not tasty and the service was way below par also a rocking table.
The menu—a compilation of hits from bistros around the world—is utterly likable. You can choose between roast chicken, côte de boeuf, a fine plate of American cheeses.
Black label burger and chocolate souffle, service, lighting, decor: all great. Table layout: unfortunately, horrible. Waaay too many people seated too close to each other, and deafeningly loud.
The $26 burgers aren't the only reason to come here. An Italian restaurant that once occupied this site, serving Beat poets and pub crawlers, left many of its decor pieces behind.
