Visit the Farmers Market on Thursdays. Madonna Inn is a visual treat, Definitely some great hikes there — Irish Hills at the summit of Prefumo Canyon gives a 360 view of the Central Coast.

Top wineries, going East to West on 46 & one of the top-ranked artisan cheese makers in California. Best to take US 101 to Paso (2 hrs), then Hwy 46 to Cambria (30 min), & Hwy 1 to SLO (45 min).

Check the restaurants, plus there are lots of galleries. Heart Castle is nearby, home of crazy old Citizen Kane himself.
