    They have the best collection of distinctive regional sauces I may have ever seen. Great fun mixing our own combos... Texas & Detroit is excellent, about half & half, for example.

    Unique menu items and such a long draft list! Try the mac and cheese or fried pickles with a cold beer, then take a growler to go!

    Awesome place! People with negative comments have probably only been downtown for a game, when this place is crazy busy.Great beer selection and food as good as Slows... but without the wait.

    Awesome burnt ends! Four sets of twins work here, crazy! The food is amazing, and we had excellent service. Management was hospitable, and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend!

    Memphis bbq sauce on the table is the bomb. Get an entree and it comes with 2 sides. I got the mac n cheese, side of skins which was generous and southern greens. Great selection of local craft beer

    BBQ is nothing to write home about, but a great place to grab a beer during happy hour. Big selection of craft beers in draft.

    Katie is perhaps the only good bartender at Rub Pub. She is a genius bartender as far as knowledge of drinks go, and she makes good conversation. If she's working you're in luck.

    Had nice lunch here tho the bartender was pulling double duty & waiting tables too. Street parking hard to find but on non-game day, park across the street at Central Methodist for $3. Guarded pkg

    Get the Rib Tips...may be the best thing on the menu, and PLENTY of food for a meal if you decide not to split it.

    Best bar I've been to in Detroit. Didn't have a chance to try the food unfortunately. . Smelled good though.

    Not the best but went on a weeknight. Dry meat, waitress nice but didn't seem to know what was going on and we were confused by her sarcasm (didn't order something and she told us to figure it out)

    The service is really slow. Waited 30 (after being seated) for the drinks to arrive. And waited close to an hour for the food. Staff is less than friendly.

    Brisket is good. Go with basic sides like fries or baked beans. The rest of the sides are so-so.

    1st time, Rib was not good not worth the price, burnt ends were ok but not for $13.00, service was not great. OVERRATED and won't be going back.
