- Steve MouzonJuni 1, 2014They have the best collection of distinctive regional sauces I may have ever seen. Great fun mixing our own combos... Texas & Detroit is excellent, about half & half, for example.
- Lynn DustJuni 16, 2011Memphis bbq sauce on the table is the bomb. Get an entree and it comes with 2 sides. I got the mac n cheese, side of skins which was generous and southern greens. Great selection of local craft beer
- Sam WallaceJuni 22, 2012Awesome burnt ends! Four sets of twins work here, crazy! The food is amazing, and we had excellent service. Management was hospitable, and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend!
- Unique menu items and such a long draft list! Try the mac and cheese or fried pickles with a cold beer, then take a growler to go!
- John BortellSeptember 12, 2012Awesome place! People with negative comments have probably only been downtown for a game, when this place is crazy busy.Great beer selection and food as good as Slows... but without the wait.

- EricDesember 19, 2014BBQ is nothing to write home about, but a great place to grab a beer during happy hour. Big selection of craft beers in draft.
- Katie is perhaps the only good bartender at Rub Pub. She is a genius bartender as far as knowledge of drinks go, and she makes good conversation. If she's working you're in luck.
- Amanda McNerneyOktober 5, 2012Best bar I've been to in Detroit. Didn't have a chance to try the food unfortunately. . Smelled good though.
- Danielle "Cakes" F.Agustus 9, 2012The Bob Seger sandwich was delicious! Their skins (seasoned fresh cut fries) were very tasty! #yummy
- I'm here all the time & can say that there's been a real effort to improve & tweak both food & service. Love the Ren Cen sandwich.
- Sandi KirkendallSeptember 22, 2010Had nice lunch here tho the bartender was pulling double duty & waiting tables too. Street parking hard to find but on non-game day, park across the street at Central Methodist for $3. Guarded pkg
- Shelly PatrickSeptember 28, 2011Kaline sandwich... brisket with fresh coleslaw=omg. Really good with apple, detroit, and memphis sauce for dippin!
- Everything here is pretty good. Downside is drinks come out quick and food comes out slooooow.
- The pretzel sliders are amazing. Stick with pork or chicken though.
- The Twisted OnionJuli 16, 2012Be sure to grab a seat where you have a great view of the game on one of the 30 HD TV's!
- Frankenmuth BrewerySeptember 30, 2011Try any (or all!) of Frankenmuth Brewery's beer on tap... it's the perfect BBQ companion!
- Get the Rib Tips...may be the best thing on the menu, and PLENTY of food for a meal if you decide not to split it.
- The chili. Get a cup, no onions. Some of the best chili I've ever had.
- WHAT EVER YOU DO! Trust Katie. It will be the best alcohol consumption decision you ever made.
- ShannaJuni 13, 2013Not the best but went on a weeknight. Dry meat, waitress nice but didn't seem to know what was going on and we were confused by her sarcasm (didn't order something and she told us to figure it out)
- James DavidMaret 19, 2016The Hat Trick was pretty tasty, fries soggy. Cheap and close to entertainment venues, not great but not bad.
- You have to try the Mac and Cheese...it is the best I have ever had!!
- Katie BerschJanuari 22, 2011great beer selection, but if you are looking for great bbq, there are much better places in metro detroit.
- Barbecue nachos are awesome. Andouille sausage is also very good.
- No more beer of the month...no more happy hour! Prices have increased! This place has gone down hill since opening!
- George HotellingMaret 25, 2012Ask for a taster before you order a full beer, because some of their beers are stale or the lines are dirty
