1 hour of free WiFi avaliable. And if you need to charge your phone/laptop/netbook/etc there are sockets and charging points throughout all the airside.

If you're going from gates 1-19, get on at the end of the transit train, not the front. It will save you time when you get off at the station.

Don knock Stansted. Travel weekly from here and compared to Heathrow it is easily the best London airport. Although if anyone works in border control can you sort that out as it manned by numskulls

The water refill station has been moved and is now near the toilets in the main departures area
Good No. 1 Traveller Lounge but be careful as enormous challenge if your plane's gate isn't in that part of the airport

There are two No 1 lounges at Stansted. One by gate 74 which is a good 15 min walk from the main terminal and one at satellite 1 for gates 11 through 19. The second is much nicer.
Busy airport always q at passport skip the e password and go for the normal q- Be warned! The transit is one way. If you get to the wrong one the only way back is by official rescue vehicle... If your not sure of your gate then use the lounge by gate 74!

UglyCookJanuari 1, 2015It's unbelievable how a airport that looks modern have staff incredibly lost and so unorganized.. Never seen so much security scrutiny...
Since the refurbrishment started, the whole airport is dark, overcrowded and has lack of seats. Hope it ends soon.
Internet works great near burger king and leon plus there are less people here :)

Good Airport just because 40 minutes from us BUT. Expensive car parking/dropping Tonight Dirty toilets. Only Burger King for any hot drinks.- Going through security can take anywhere between 10 and 60 minutes.

After leaving the train go the e-passport checking row it might be faster than the regular ID control.
