The raisin-y brioche are more like room-temp cross buns (and taste so much better than that sounds); plus, you can sit in the lobby bar and pretend you're a crazy Euro tourist. Fun!
Great coffee and sweets but serious attitude from staff. No smiles from the person who served me and she didn't even look at me when she put the coffee down. Shame there's no better coffee around here
The coffee usually sucks. Probably because most people who come here are hotel guests who care more about being cool and staying at the Ace than about good coffee.
