Joanne: One of the palaces located in Seoul. Less people than the main one on the other side. Highly suggest to go on a weekday to avoid many tourists.
Joanne: Hanok means traditional Korean houses. This area is hilly so wear something comfortable and walk around for a bit! There are tea houses and little shops in renovated hanoks.
Joanne: One of Seoul's gentrified areas. There are tons of cute cafés, and great kbbq restaurants in little hanoks that haven't been changed since the 1920s.

Joanne: Very touristy, but a nice 360 view of Seoul. I highly suggest to take the cable car to get up here if you're too lazy to walk up the mountain. I also suggest going around sunset.
Joanne: Designed by Zaha Hadid, DDP is the epicenter of all things design. I would dedicate an afternoon to this place as there's a market, museum, and a lot of spaces that you can walk through.
Joanne: Dedicate at least one afternoon to check out the museum, because it has 3 sections. Get the audio tour as well, since they don't have any description of the art there. Closed on Mondays.
Joanne: You MUST come here. It's quite the experience. The food is absolutely delicious as well. Things to try out: mungbean pancakes, kimbap, oden, dumplings, chicken feet (dak bal).
Joanne: A BEAUTIFUL space. There's a coffee shop that serves Bonanza Coffee from Berlin. There's also a great shop inside. Downstairs is a cute little bakery as well.
Joanne: The owners are fashion designers with a passion for architecture and interior design, who wanted to create a creative space for locals to relax and get inspired.
