Taking MRT to Taipei City Hall and walk cut through Taipei Bus Station will get to Eslite's Xinyi rd branch. Cools stuffs all over the building and lots of books selection!!
The old dude by Wellcome mart towards the end of Shida Rd. (near the MRT station) makes the best grilled corns in the city.

very nice views from some of the lookout points you can clearly see Taipei 101 and the rest of the city. Look out for the 60 year-old dudes with six pack stomachs. they make me feel weak!
