The Gateway Arch, also known as the Gateway to the West, is the tallest national monument in the U.S. Construction began on Feb. 12, 1963, with the last section put into place on Oct. 28, 1965.
The stadium's name came from the Busch family of Anheuser-Busch, who owned the baseball team until March 1996 and championed the stadium's construction.
Stone Mountain was first used as a meeting place for members of the Cherokee and Creek Nations.
