Laura Can't Sleep...Let's Make a List!

Laura Linger: The most delicious food I have ever eaten, bar none. Family owned, family operated. Lovely people. A Valley treasure.

Laura Linger: Every Valley resident has their favorite place for Mexican (we have something like eight gazillion Mexican restaurants). This is mine.

Laura Linger: Expensive to the point of being outrageous, but worth every penny if only for the stunning views. The food is outstanding, too; I especially recommend their Thanksgiving spread.

Laura Linger: It's a dive. It's delicious. Easily the best Vietnamese I have eaten since I was actually in Vietnam. My mother-in-law loved it. Enough said?

Laura Linger: My husband is his happiest when he is dipping things in melted cheese. Luckily for us, this location of Melting Pot is terrific. Great service, always a fun time and good food.

Laura Linger: A Phoenix institution, especially for brunch. Prepare for a long wait on the weekends, but so very worth it. (I especially recommend hand-sliced nova on an untoasted bialy with olive cream cheese.)

Laura Linger: Touristy as all get out, but who cares? It's so much fun, and the BBQ is delicious! Parking can be a problem; luckily, the Cave Creek main drag is very pro-pedestrian, so you can park and walk.

Laura Linger: The best Italian food in all of Phoenix and her environs. Period.

Laura Linger: Although Tomaso's comes very close for the "best Italian in Phoenix" title. He and his restaurant are beloved Valley institutions. Dining there is a bit like stepping onto the set of Goodfellas!

Laura Linger: A new favorite. If there is one thing I love more than well-made, decently priced sushi, it's when it's brought to me via conveyor belt. Memories of Omotesando, not a bad thing at all. Love it.
