Reservations are required but you can try your luck. The barista patiently helped me choose a single origin coffee that fit my palate, and I was happy with the brew. The lemon cheesecake was also good
A large plant nursery selling all sorts of indoor and outdoor plants. Also gardening and landscaping supplies. The place is easy to maneuver. They also operate a cafe beside it.
Among their specialties are creamy lamb soup and signature lamb shank. The former seems to be missing some kick in my opinion, but the latter is pretty well-executed. Coffee on the acids side.
The church whose patron saint is St. Anthony of Padua has its roots traced back to 1894. It began as a chapel and its first priest was Rev. Fr. Rene (MEP). The current structure was completed in 1923.
The theme of this park is an "evergreen hill". A winding uphill path with lots of pines, cycads, cedars, etc. The paths are done up in concrete, and are very clean. Not a difficult walk.
Fish tacos (RM25) is great, but the star is the Iberico Ribs (RM90, 500 grams). Love that my order came with a chunk of soft bones, and a nice grilled aroma. The meat fell off the bones.
Big park around a lake. The main entrance is located at the West Lake (Jalan Kuantan), and there's a minor entrance at East Lake. Great place for a run, ride your bicycle, or do some rollerblading.
The long black (RM12) went well with the chocolate meringue roulade (RM15). The roulade's shell had a nice texture, wrapping a center of cream with bits of mango. Upstairs seating was not open.
Flagship Ben's Independent Grocer with impressive visual merchandising and styling. Good selection of local and imported goods. Groceries are generally more expensive, but that goes with the location
Takeaway: Tried their B1F1 promotion -- wagyu sumibiyaki donburi and chirashi sushi (foie gras). Both are priced at RM78. Delivery food usually looks sad and disheveled, but my order looked great.
Takeaway: Satisfied with the taste and freshness of the butter kam heong crabs. RM178 for two pieces of XXXL crabs. Not a common gravy for crab, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not greasy.

The original Kohaku Tendon sells for RM26 (ebi, chicken breast, asparagus, pumpkin, etc). Add on RM10 for edamame, chawanmushi (very smooth), and green tea. The tempura is not greasy.
Promising mall in Tropicana. Plenty of food options, but they really need more retail shops. The upper floor are still sparse. A good size, so walking up and down the length of it is a bit tiring.
A very cosy cafe located on the 2nd floor. Two sections, one with lots of natural light, and another facing the counter. The interior has unique decorations. Look out for their lunch specials at RM10.

Stopped here for tea time and I was pleasantly surprised. Try the signature white coffee~ smooth and has a slight smoky aroma. Unique. The white curry had a great presentation, restaurant standard.
Simple menu with selection of soy milk and douhua. Signature items are the soymilk tea (green or red tea) with white jade, and black sesame soymilk with white jade. White jade is their mochi.
Quiet place for a spot of tea. Famous for their signature lemon tea, and chilled mango, sago and pomelo. I tried the grapefruit oolong green tea (MYR13.50). Refreshing.
Spacious restaurant with a retro-themed private rooms. The fish curry pot uses 'Ling' fish, with some vegetables, tofupok, deep-fried fuzuk, and roast pork. Really thick, and perfect with rice.
When I saw tomato pork noodles on the menu, I had to try it. And when it's on so many tables, can't go wrong. Wasn't disappointed. The soup is thick, slightly sweet with a hint of ketchup.
Rare to see a thai restaurant on the second floor. Authentic Thai cuisine. The squid salad is excellent. Love the crunchy texture. Grilled pork neck is also well-executed. A very moist result.
Definitely value for money. The sashimi slices are so thick that I find them a little difficult to eat! Imagine that. Can't fault the quality. The kitchen is super fast.
The spring roll is yummy, bursting with the fragrance of apple mint and shrimp. The sauce that comes with it reminded me a bit of peanut butter. Haha. Pho Ga and Pho Bo is average. Big portions.

Great place for Malay food. My personal favourites are the beef rendang, and asam pedas fish. Very good control in the use of spices with each dish having its own distinct taste.
