Simple Italian restaurant along Jalan Gasing. Serves crispy thin crust pizzas, calzones, pastas, risottos, grilled chicken, grilled seabass. The seafood risotto is my favourite.

Delicious fried CCF from Uncle Botak stall. Fried at high temperature giving it excellent 'wok qi'. Contains minced pork, cabbage, egg, bean sprouts and preserved radish.
Fresh seafood and great yakitori (dinner only). I like the deep-fried mini shrimp. Excellent sashimi and nigiri sushi. Omakase is also available with several price tiers.
No frills French. Chef from Brittany. Good pricing and variety. Beef bourguignon melts in your mouth. Fish soup is also a great starter. Honey pork ribs with blue cheese sauce is also interesting.
Chicken rice and Kopi is the specialty here. Anything from steamed (ginger or sesame) to fried (salt and pepper, salted egg) to grilled. Comes fragrant rice, plain rice, or fries.

Standard grilled Hokkaido pork. Surprised that they have hokke (atka mackerel) here. But not jumbo sized like they say. Still, a rare find in the Klang Valley. Well-staffed. Indoor and outdoor seating
Thai fusion food. All-in-one Bento is rice with fried pork, fried chicken drummers, succulent pork slices, and fried egg. Comes with tomyum, green curry gravy, Thai chili sauce, and fruits. Yummy.
Boutique hotel located at shoplot. Rooms seem new, well-maintained. Elevator available. Electronic key cards used. Room SAFE, TV, and air-conditioning available. Public parking only.
I approve of their teh tarik kurang manis. Piping hot and has adequate tea strength. The roti telur bawang also arrived with piping hot daal. Looks great when you're having supper on a cold night.
Polo bun with NZ butter (they even tell you the brand which is Anchor) is great. Goes great with a cup of their hot cham.
Interesting piece of architecture preserved from the colonial era. RM10 for foreigners, RM5 for locals, RM4 for local senior citizens above 60. Explore Kellas House and the unfinished Kellie's Castle.
An arts and craft cafe connected to a zumba studio. Great place for dessert. They have waffles and Balo ice cream with alcohol-infused flavours. The brandy & prune is recommended.
A famous bean sprout chicken joint located at the Gerbang Malam area. Plenty of things to shop after eating here. Bean sprout here is as expected, chicken good texture but I wouldn't say very fragrant
Good business hotel just beside Dutch Hospital. A happening location. Everything looks new and well-maintained. They have a bistro, cafe, and bar. Impressive cultural shows every Monday and Thursday.
Good Japanese food. Well-staffed restaurant. Two floors. Free valet parking available. The teshoku sets are matched with white rice, nigiri sushi or chirashi sushi. Unagi is recommended.
A nice place for dessert and coffee. Tried the Yuzu, which was 58% Belgian chocolate mousse. Yuzu (RM18) is hidden in the chocolate, and the base is a mixture of caramelised nuts. Rich, but not sweet.
Authentic Southern Indian food. Can be very crowded during meal hours. Good ghee chapati and chicken varuval. Clean and orderly. Serves a big variety of food. Will return to explore more.
In-house noodles with no preservatives (tossed with pork lard), but I'm not crazy about it. I prefer it thinner. Char siew is good though, and the sui kow is actually the star.
I like the coffee. RM9 for flat white, but it's smaller cup. Stuffed chicken breast is delicious. Pesto and cheese, with a side of arugula, and grilled vegetables. Spaces interior.
Saw several reviews mentioning expensive food, but I found it to be fair. Nasi Kerabu + grilled ikan keli + Teh Tarik = RM10.60. They also have nasi campur, and misc. fried snacks like banana fritters
An interesting place for halal Chinese fusion cuisine. Dim sum for bites, and main dishes for your typical Chinese dinner (no round tables though).
Kinda like the coffee here. Latte is RM11 for cup, and RM14 for mug. Good selection of cakes and pastries. Strawberry croissant and dirty bun looks interesting. Chairs are kid-sized!
Old style Catholic church dating back to 1848. Check out the grotto with a statue of the Visitation, and Our Lady of Lourdes. English, Chinese, Tamil, and BM masses available.
Huge floor space. Food is quite delicious, cheep, with generous portions. Try the chicken with Chinese rice wine, yam basket with spicy cuttlefish, and blanched chicken.
A family-owned business where they specialise in Chinese herbs. There's a good TCM practitioner there who will write you a prescription, and you can get it filled there.
Serai platter is delicious - white rice with honey squid (battered and deep fried), ayam goreng berempah, oxtail asam pedas (love the sweet and thick gravy, tender meat). Suitable to share.
Fantastic mixed pork soup. The soup is clear and there's no unpleasant offal smell or taste. You can refill the soup too. Don't bother with the blanched chicken. Below average.
