Forget the crowds and delays of BART. This is the civilized way to get to SF. Grab a coffee at the snack bar, hop on the free wifi and enjoy the amazing views of the bay!
Commuting on the ferry is soul enriching. Taking in the open sky, the ocean air, and the view of the bay beats the tunnels of Bart any day. Highly recommend taking it from east bay to SF.
Great photo opportunities if you get up for the early ferry. Plenty of seating, if you get on with a bike at Oakland, put it out back. Much more civilized way to commute than the shitty BART.
If you are a new ferry commuter, make sure you are getting on the right ferry, SF Ferry bldg and SSF Oyster point ferries leave right after each other!!!
