authentic shanghai noodles and dim sum! Some of the waiting staff seem slow and don't know what they're doing. They tend to be more friendly to guests who doesn't look like Chinese. 🤔
Beautifully delicate, authentic Shanghainese and Sichuan dishes. Highly recommend the spicy fish stew, wood ear mushrooms, spicy mung bean jelly, dan dan noodles, claypot dumplings. Rustic chic decor.
Can't go wrong w the cold dishes, and make sure to order the sticky rice dumplings! Didn't get to try the noodles though; the waiter forgot to put the order in (even after we asked for it 3 times)
A new addition for authentic, refreshing Chinese food based on seasonal offerings. This new spot meet the restaurant standard of mainland China. Recommend: chive and clam, crispy tofu, egg dumplings.
Amazing new spot in the Village. Please be advised that there is usually an hour+ wait for dinner - recommend one group member your name down & then take a detour to "the happiest hour" for drinks.
Super solid, high quality, authentic chinese. Get the wood ear mushrooms, chives w clam, minced beef noodles, fried dumplings, mala fish stew, sticky rice dim sum, and the soy dessert!
Authentic Sichuan Chinese in West Village hip vibes at reasonable prices. Interesting and very tasty menu. Seafood scallion pancakes, Dan Dan noodles, chickpea spicy noodles
Rosewater jelly with nuts was one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. Good dimsum. Good hard hitting flavors (Szechuan mainly) Don't order the Dan Dan or pork rice
The fare is delicious- the best I've had in NYC bar none. The tea is excellent. They have afternoon tea service -perfect for a midday tea respite. The decor is soothing natural and sophisticated.
You must must must get the smoky sole. Everything about this place is spectacular. Madame Z herself is a total gem. Also superb: agar noodles, fish soup, Dan Dan noodles, thinly sliced beef. 👌🏻✨
Trendy Date Night Chinese dining. Jazz music plays to the glow of three woven firefly light chandeliers.. Pork belly Bao was warm & fluffy just the way it should be ✨ I'd come back
Great new spot for real Chinese food. Several Sichuan classics but many dishes new to me too. Enjoyed Le Shan chicken, clay pot rice, seafood pancake, lotus root app (but v. sweet). Spacious.
Was blown away by this place! I had the sticky rice and bacon siu mai, potato and ham rice, vegetable rolls, and the rose water jelly. Each of them was delicious, but you have to try to jelly!
The food was delicious! Had the sticky rice shu mai, wontons in chili oil, dan dan noodles, crispy shrimp and beef with medalions. Service leaves something to be desired!
the food is very expertly prepared and mostly tasty but I wasn't wholly vibing with this place, which for the record I'd definitely classify as "two dollar signs" on the Foursquare pricing scale
I was there with a chinese friend and he said its the first time in the states I have chinese food which makes honour to our country. With this comment i feel I don't need to add anything!
Really like the food here but seating is always an issue. First time I came they were closing at 9 pm. second time event plus reservations meant no seatings. Even though there are open seats.
I'm so bummed about this place! I had high hopes but the food was lukewarm, came out so fast it couldn't have been made to order, almost raw pork in the dumplings, bland. The servers were nice though.
Decorations were great but clashed with the food. Well executed but uninspiring and really expensive. Pork belly was 1/4 pork belly and 3/4 bean sprouts. Ended up having to get a second meal.
As soon as we were sat for our 9pm reservation, they announced last call and we immediately had to order drinks, food and dessert with little ceremony. I felt rushed and unwelcome to be honest.
