If you're coming from Reykjavik, I'd recommend leaving at 4am. You'll have the roads to yourself and get to avoid the crowds at the glacier. When you're done head down to the beach for the after party
Take the Zodiac tour. Less people, you will get much closer to the glacier and the ice and it's just so much fun! Not cheap but worth it. Much better than the standard amphibious boat tours.
Atmosphere,view,seals...It was amazing and interesting place. If you visit Iceland don't miss Jökulsarlon. It's outside of Reykjavik but when you rent a car ıt takes 4 hours..😊
Shortly after evading russian soldiers and a helicopter, James Bond is warmly invited into an iceberg-shaped boat using a Union Flag signal on this glacial lake in A View to a Kill (1985). Baca selanjutnya
El lago por excelencia, si acampas, hazlo allí sin duda, la noche en silencio oyendo los icebergs chocando entre ellos y la aurora boreal sobre ti, es mágico!
This is a no. 1 stop for breathtaking pictures. I didn’t do the boat tour and was absolutely happy with the views you get from different angles along the the shore.
The very first glacier on the southern region. If you are lucky, you can see seals in addition to this amazing glacier. If you have time, you can walk up the glacier
Easily one of the most magical places in Iceland. A must if you're doing the ring road drive, but be prepared to come back a few times in case there isn't ice flowing the first time you drive by.
Jökulsárlón was the location used for filming of the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish Vs Jaguar XKR car chase sequence in Die Another Day (2002). Filming required 30cm thick ice and lasted 3 weeks. Baca selanjutnya
The lake is beautiful. There's a trail that goes around it where you can walk and even encounter seals that are just laying on large ice pieces or swimming around.
James Bond Die Another Day had a scene filmed here, along w/a few other movies. One of my favorite spots on my trip to Iceland. Keep an eye out for sealsswimming around.
Не смотря на многолюдность места-место уникально!не пожалела, взяв тур на Амфибии.цвет льда сильно зависит от времени суток.при путешествии вокруг острова против часовой стрелки-начало самой турзоны
Get there early for sunrise, or late in the afternoon for bettter photos. No avoiding the crowds unfortunately. Very slippery and icy in winter, so watch your step! Diamond Beach is across the road.
This is where I found out what "blue ice" means 😍 it's colder than average Iceland so take extra precaution. You can find hot soup in the cabin. Go to the beach to find pieces of ice washed ashore.
Не стоит того. Вас просто увезут подальше от берега и расскажут немного общедоступных цифр и информации. Лодка переполнена, снимать нереально. Стоит посещения только если в лагуне плавают тюлени.
Jökulsárlón is a large glacial lake in southeast Iceland, on... the borders of Vatnajökull National Park. Situated at the head of Breiðamerkurjökull, it developed into a lake after the glacier started receding from the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.(Tampilkan lebih banyak)
