This park is great with amazing views of the skyscrapers of New York City... we took a walk through and pictures before going to the boat to Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty. Parking is free.

Nice park, great mini statues, you can learn some history with them, the liberty statue is nice, although I was expecting for more!! Overall , it's a must go place, one of the main symbols of NY.

Excellent walking trails on the waterfront. Great views of NYC and the backside of the Statue of Liberty. The diverse crowd at the park highlights one of the many great aspects of city living.
If you're a runner, this place is the best for long runs - a nice flat 4-mile loop, bathrooms, easy parking, and all in the shadow (figuratively) of the Statue of Liberty and the NYC skyline.
From downtown Jersey City, enter via the pedestrian bridge at the end of Jersey Ave. A bike/walking lane was paved across the gravel lot last year so it's a smooth ride all the way in!
