    You read the menu and everything seems cool, but then the food doesn't live up to the expectations. It's a shame, because the Place is very nice, staff's super friendly and the cocktails are good.

    Spend the night before my 30th birthday at Parker Bowles. Absolutely awesome food and service. They really raised the bar for german cuisine in Berlin.

    Quiet, off the beaten track bar and restaurant. Excellent food (ceviche, tartar, weinerschnitzel and rib eye) and a cocktail list to match. Restaurant shuts down at midnight.

    If you’re English, do not order the fish & chips. You will be massively disappointed. What arrived was two pieces of fish, no bigger than fish fingers & small proportion of crisps. All this for €10.50

    The wien schnitzel is better than the schnitzel at a certain 2 Michelin starred place in Wien. Also the beet cocktail is refreshing.

    Der Hipster-Business-Laden am Moritzplatz. Interessante Speisenauswahl mit durchwachsener geschmacklicher Qualität. Den Service fand ich gut. Reservieren kann sich lohnen.

    Sometimes I'm excited by something on the menu, but then the flavors are just so mediocre. It's not overpriced, at least. I gave it at least four tries but nothing was really great.

    Came many times here. Food is mediocre, sounds fancy but tastes cheap. Staff is rude, slow with horrible attitudes. Last time we asked for a table, staff was sarcastic & told us to find our own place.

    Table for 3: 75min to bring some bread and a bottle of wine, +10 for starters, +20 min to get us 3 mains (all the same)=105min=€140, no discount, just a lousy 'sorry we had a big group to serve'. Bad.
