Longest bridge in the state of New York. The Tappan Zee is named for an American Indian tribe from the area called "Tappan"; & zee being the Dutchword for "sea". Toll $5.00 (cash) or $4.75 (E-ZPass)

If you have to cross going towards the city make sure you have an EZ Pass! Going away from the city is freeeeee!

The bridge that connects Rockland & Westchester. Can get congested especially during rush hour everyday including the weekends.

It freaks me out to see the "Life is Worth Living" and "When it seems like there is no hope, there is help" signs on the bridge due to all the suicides on this bridge.

Preferred way south from ri and ct. Lowered or modified vehicles the right lane is in the best shape

Love the drive on this bridge... The view isn't bad either, Southbound side is prettier, but you can see it better from the Northbound side.

Needs more policing - for speeders and the semi's need to be in the right hand lane - middle lane is always inviting trouble

Use your Ezpass and save some money

People..use your turn signals. It's not very hard to let someone know when you're going to switch lanes. It's common courtesy..if you can't move your arm less than 1ft to flick a switch...you're lazy.

There is too much traffic on this Godforsaken bridge, but it beats the hell outta using the GWB as an alternative.

No toll headed south, but there is a toll ($5.50 I think) headed north.
