    5 star service. Everything was perfect. The staff was more than polite and if you want to browse the hotel foaie and garden only, they will guide you with smile on their faces :)

    Live jazz music programmes and fresh cocktails in a colonial old world tropical setting leave you relaxed. Just book in advance if it's a Friday night- they won't let you in otherwise.

    Puts The Peninsula bars' drinks to shame. Different class of cocktails altogether. Very cool vibe and friendly staff as well. Sit at the bar and watch them work their meticulous magic.

    Classy and atmospheric. Come later in the week for a full band but much less busy and easier to get a nice seat earlier in the week as they don’t take bookings.

    Luxury, classy & lovely jazz bar in The Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. As far as I know, booking cannot be done & flip fop or shorts (for men) are not allowed. You may call & check dress code.

    Sanctuary for jazz-lovers since it opened in 1953. Try Thaijito or music-inspired Cheek to Cheek – a punch-style paean to Ella Fitzgerald made with tequila, cinnamon, kombucha, falernum and calamansi.

    Great singer in the house (Denise Thimes), she's here til the end of Feb 2010. Catch her live! Great Russian house band. *Do not* get Mojito it literally tasted like water.. Sunday is a jam session :)
