One of only a few Fullerspubs in London I enjoy, this place is a lovely old building, unpretentious atmosphere and super friendly staff. Basic and very cheap bar snack selection, a refreshing change.
This little pub is everything that you like about London: it’s cosy yet cool, a bit hidden but busy and has been there since the medival times. The take-one-bring-one library is a nice thing too.
Not hard to find as there's a sign revealing the alleyway & pub posted on the main street. Service is stern & curt yet accommodating. A lot of suits mixed with tourists. Surprising amount of space.
