Shem Creek Park includes a lengthy boardwalk that leads to Charleston Harbor. A perfect place for photography, the boardwalk ends where shrimp boats dock and you can almost always see wild dolphins.

Great place to stay! Close to water, close to good food, dolphin watching from the balcony, family friendly. You pay for the best view - worth it!

Stunning views of the marsh, shrimp boats, Shem Creek, Dolphins and paddle borders. A beautiful boardwalk runs right through the park.

The Shem Creek Inn is surrounded by some delicious restaurants. Both Vickery's and Waters Edge are within walking distance and many other favorites are a short drive away.

If you can't get a seat on the patio, get takeout and sit downstairs by the water and the outside bar. Great sunset dining.

Not up to the Shem Creek seafood standard. Our dish (lowcountry saute) was surprisingly bland. The bars are poorly stocked. Restaurant was understaffed, so wait times were horrible even early.

Our server was horrible, the food was ok. Don't recommend ordering drinks there. They were totally over priced and the glass was tiny. Food was also under seasoned. Overall I wouldn't recommend it.
