    One of the best classic luxury Victorian style hotel in Edinburgh and if you're lucky enough to get rooms overlooking the Edinburgh Castle, you have nothing more to ask for. Free wifi for all guests.

    This is a fantastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel and a perfect antidote to the scrum of the fringe. A real oasis of calm and comfort after a long day of theatrical experiences. Same time next year? 😉

    The castle views are beautiful, but the single glazing makes it hard to sleep at night with noises from the bus stops & road outside

    Great hotel! Try the crab lasagne in the restaurant on the ground floor -- one of the best things that I have every eaten (and I'm very good at eating and enjoying my food!)

    Great location, staff is excellent. Beautiful hotel with good restaurants. Hotel car park is too small for its capacity, so park early.

    Disappointing stay. Although I am a regular at Waldorf Astoria hotels around the globe the Caledonian was a big disappointment to me. The bar & brasserie are good though.

    The hotel is being renovated, so beware of the building work. But to be fair it is not that disruptive. The iPod dock in the room is a nice touch.
