Shawn WrightApril 12, 2017This is a great place to connect with nature. A little pricey but it is worth it. However I strongly recommend appropriate shoes and clothes, and most of all an water backpack.

You can get up close to everything, wear comfortable shoes & make sure you take the "ski-lift" to view the site of the whole zoo.

Definitely the best zoo in Arizona. All the animals are up close and easy to see. It's definitely an all day activity, so bring water!

The zoo itself is enjoyable; downsides are disgruntled, unpleasant employees & the fact that they don't honor Veterans/Military discount unless you're affiliated with Luke Air Force Base.
