Aaron C. • Juli 12, 2013Finally a Vietnamese restaurant that has the best of everything. Pho, Banh Mi sandwiches, Spring rolls and vermicelli bowls! This is now my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. And they're open late!
TN • Oktober 21, 2017The pho broth here is excellent. Looks oily but isn't actually heavy. The pork chop bun is also great. We enjoyed the crispy spring roll. Will definitely be back.
Anna F. • Desember 19, 2012Meat lovers - please please please get the Cub Classic, and make it spicy. It's definitely not a traditional bahn mi but that's what makes it even better.
Tracey C. • April 13, 2014$5 Authentic bahn mi sandwiches. Easily only of the best and cheapest lunches in the area. Cash only but there's an ATM inside.
Louis D. • Februari 3, 2018Really nice Vietnamese restaurant, the autumn rolls are super good, the madame pho is also really good, the caramelized spare ribs aren’t easy to eat though.
Paul T. • Mei 7, 2010#11 spicy, vegan lemongrass tofu, rocks. Simple, tasty, pretty light for a big banh mi.
Ranu R. • Februari 11, 2017Love this new modern Vietnamese addition to the hood. Start with papaya salad and spring rolls, then move onto pho and beef stew. Tasty house hot sauce! Everything was delic, I loved the interior too.
Jenice M. • Mei 29, 2021The Rooster Wings were very delectable! On the surface, they were crisp and tasty, yet on the interior, they were cooked lovingly. This is one of the nicest bowls of pho I've ever had.
Wejdan ✨ • Desember 24, 2014I didn't try That much of Vietnamese restaurants but i can say that this is a really really good one.
F. B. • November 12, 2019Comparable to Hanoi House and Madame Vo, but better than both. Enjoyed Shaking Beef, Banh Beo steamed rice bowls and Dragon Rice Plate. Warm, genuine service. Modern, understated design. A winner.
Serious Eats • April 23, 2013The archetypical bành mí baguette: ultra-crisp and crackly with a blistered surface and soft, tender crumb plus perfectly fresh fillings make this bahn mi our favorite in NYC.
Sarah G. • April 29, 2022Short ribs, crispy fried rice and a soft shell crab Banh Mi were the table favorites! The sautéed greens with garlic, oxtail fried rice and garlic shrimp noodles were also great
Zachary g. • Desember 14, 2014Most authentic Vietnamese restaurant I've had since I was in Saigon. Yes to the Bun Bo hue.
Nina R. • Agustus 15, 2021Best spot for pho in LES by FAR. So with the spicy lemongrass pho with brisket. You won’t be sorry. Wings are good too.
The Corcoran Group • Oktober 11, 2011A bit more expensive than other Vietnamese restaurants, but totally worth it as the food is flavorful and fresh. Try the Summer Rolls, Pork Noodle Bowl and the Shrimp Crepe.
Alex C. • Januari 6, 2014Best Vietnamese restaurant around. I highly recommend the clay pot ginger chicken.
lia b. • Februari 28, 2016don't be fooled by the fancy interior, Pasteur is LEGIT. best Vietnamese pork chop with rice in the city, and under $10!
Greg O. • Juli 1, 2013One of my favorite restaurants in the city. Best service and best food. Love these guys. I recommend the 'BBQ beef over vermicelli noodles' and 'salt & pepper squid'. Get a '33' beer as well. Enjoy!!!
Village Voice • Mei 31, 2012Robert Sietsema is convinced that Sao Mai may be the best Vietnamese restaurant New Yorkers have. Keep an eye out for the goi bo, banh cuon, and for all you naysayers, give the pho a shot.
Matt P. • September 16, 2022BBH Beef Shank is a must! Banh Mi Platter is genius and don't forget some Beef Tartare too.
F. B. • November 14, 2018Sietsema: 1 of 2 Teochew restaurants in C-town. Duck is braised and presented with a vinegary dipping sauce; Cambodian/Viet soups. Bean curd skin stuffed with shrimp & deep fried. Very comfortable.
