Columbia Heights Metro Station

Thanks a lot, Sean. Way to ensure that the secret's out and that section of the train the most crowded.

During normal operations, the doors open on the LEFT at this station.

Metro had gone downhill. Rude employees, broken escalators, ridiculously high fares, entire lines not working (meaning trains), and not a care in the world from Metro.

Go to the ends of the platform—less crowded.

Love my local metro, but wished the escalators weren't down for repair so often.

Use the southbound 14th Street exit for DC USA.

With a new station manager on board, CHeights was much friendlier this a.m. when my card wouldn't swipe. Thanks!

Watch out for Frank Underwood, men in strange hats.

Maybe some day they'll fix the escalators.

Great people watching station

As a traveler, I'd like to think I'm fairly savvy so when my fare card stopped working, I asked the station attendant about it and they were just plain rude. This happened twice not great res for DC!

There are entirely too many rude Metro employees. Not just station managers, but throughout the entire corporation.

Actually smells fresh in here!
