The Arab Quarter is a lovely place to sit and work at a coffeeshop, most of whom have pretty reliable wifi. Some good Middle Eastern food around here too!
This street is full of tea joints, cafés & hookah bars. Try some pulled tea – which is a frothy black tea with condensed milk. As seen on Travel Channel’s The Layover with Anthony Bourdain.
Lovely area for strolling, but there's also a few super cheap hostels and one tiny shop where a man makes THE BEST hot coffee. No name to the place, but look for people sipping coffee from baggies.
Arab Street has a diverse set of restaurants with Mediterranean cuisine including Lebanese, Turkish, Moroccan food etc., souvenir shops, mosques, and hookah bars showcasing the Arab culture. Must see!
Bought variety of lace materials in preparation of upcoming engagement event. Very satisfied with choices of satin materials - Silver & Off White. Shops No. 75 & 113 are recommended for good pricing
I found some of the most incredible street art here....full of colour, loads of talent, and unique designs of all kinds. Look around and up and behind you to spot it all.
Great to spend a day in the district to explore. Prices are a little touristy, but not bad. Great place to diversify your diet. Loved the restaurants here.
Arab street at Singapore .. Honestly I didn't like it that much .. However it's worth spending couple of hours out here. To many Arabic restaurants and hookah bars are available here.
This is one of the best places to shop for traditional items like fabrics batik, silk, sari, handicrafts, religious items, etc. Don’t forget to bargain. Also don’t miss the stunning Sultan Mosque.
Bayramda Arab Street,...ama ne yapsan Turk yemekleri olmuyor burada. Chopsticks 'e devam:) Singapur'da bayram yarın sabah başlıyor 5 Ekim itibarıyla ve sadece 2 gün tatil !!!
Dinner at Turkish restaurant MacDoner Kebab. Inconsistent service, some of the drinks ordered served swiftly while others are 30 minutes are. Dishes ordered good. The bill is not cheap at S$150
Alta moda is great for designer silkprints you'll never find elsewhere in Singapore! If you're looking for cottons, go to liberty! Once the print is gone there is no more!!
