I like T2 at Pudong, but it’s more convenient to fly into Hongqiao if there’s a flight available and you don’t need a taxi, the taxi queue in Hongqiao is a nightmare.
A cab from here to the city center will cost you about 200RMB, a metro ride no more than 7RMB. Everything very new and clean, at least the don't spit here inside
If you think you'll have some shopping from duty free them you might get upset here, because here are only few shops and they are also closed. So buy everything from before immigration.

Sit for 5-10 minutes after the landing time if your picking someone up. The gate to the exit is long and yes baggage maybe a little while. Or just make sure they have (SMS) when they get of the plane.

Ridiculous!! For international passenger arriving for the first time without any local currency, it's a great hassle to get connected to free wifi or to make a phone call!! What the heck!
