I cannot begin to describe how amazing and mysterious and one-of-a-kind this place is. You just have to go in and experience it with your own ears! Definitely a hidden gem in SF!
It's cool, and kind of romantic as a date idea, and 70s in every way—even though Schaff actually premiered a new piece, Audium 9, in 2008. He won't be around forever, so check it out while you can. Baca selanjutnya
A sound art installation that has been in SF since 1967 and run by the same guy since. "Audium has pioneered the language of space in music for over 50 years." Be sure to ask him how it all works. :)
"Bathe in extreme surround sound with 176 speakers filling a dark, circular room meant to create a 'sound sculpture.' AUDIUM 9 is performed every Friday and Saturday at 8:30pm (arrive by 8:15)."
A very unique, esoteric music experience focused on sound movement. It’s certainly interesting, but wouldn’t say I enjoyed it. Go to a music-focused show if they have one.
