A must-see. Once you get into the courtyard, have one person wait in the long line to enter the chateau while another goes into the left-hand side building to buy entry tickets.
An amazing place that you MUST see if you ever come to Paris. The Ticket Q might be long if you don't like to wait buy them online or form the self operated machines.
The palace possesses a royal beauty that is rare and mesmerizing. Why does it feel small, in a way? It's an intimate estate with a fog of history over it.
Vale muito a pena pegar o trem para os jardins e o le petit trianon!! Custa 7,00 euros (ida e volta), mas permite um deslocamento rápido e menos cansativo
Really awesome castle but VERY crowdy inside. You don't have time to look long on something. The garden is breathtaking and definitely worth the visit.
Must must buy ticket to visit the gardens too!! It look beautiful and I regret not visiting the ginormous garden :) beautiful, out of this world palace
Ihtisamda son nokta!!! Mutlaka gezilmeli; sunu da ekleyeyim: turistik bi mekan olmasina ragmen yakinindaki restoranlarda 20 euro'ya giris+ana yemek+2 kadeh sarapli bi menuyle doyabilirsiniz 👍
The wait is ok and there is a lot to see - the garden is worth a visit of it's own. If you have the Big Pass you can visit there a lot of other small palaces.
There's a lot more to Versailles than the chateau. Bring a picnic basket and have lunch in the gardens. They are huge and beautiful, you can find your own space away from the crowds.
The entire estate is truly a sight to behold, but I was most impressed with the individual sections of garden, which each have their own theme. Spend some time getting lost out there.
Do not bother going on a cold rainy day. You won't get the best out of the gardens. Wish we could have rented bicycles and rode around the grounds all afternoon. Next time.
Very crowded on Tuesdays during high season because it is closed on Mondays. Arrive early in the morning or wait in line for hours. To kill time, enjoy the gardens and Marie Antoinette's estate first.
It is definitely worth it to splurge on a tour guide - you skip the extremely long line, learn lots of fun facts, and get into rooms you would never have access to!
This famous building is a must-see if you love history and stunning architecture. One of the largest palaces in the world, this is home to the famous Hall of Mirrors. The Palace opens at 9am.
I came here in January and used my Paris Pass so I didn't have to wait in line. However, they closed the gardens and Trianonpalaces due to snow and frost. If going in winter, check availability.
IMPONENTE.
Stunningly beautiful, but they really need to work on crowd control in the palace. It felt like being forcibly herded between rooms and took away from the experience.
Huge place. At least take 1 1/2 hours to wandering around in the palace. I love the garden, what a wonderful scenery. Bring plenty of sun block in sunny day。
