With 80 acres there is a lot to see. With the construction of bear mountain it became the first zoo in the country to use naturalistic enclosures. Check out the list of babies currently available too!

I loved the exhibits! Especially being able to go in a majority of the bird exhibits to see how pretty they are up close! The zoo was super clean, great parking and the animals seemed pretty content!

Love this zoo. Animals have plenty of room, elephant path is nice, the feline house is awesome. Check out the lorikeet area: it's also free. Pretty great trip. And yes, the picture is a hyena in a box

Best zoo I've been to. Animals are really active and there's a great Asian culture exhibit where the elephants are. Also: find the semi hidden food truck!

The Denver Zoo is perfect for all ages. With many exhibits featuring up-close and personal expierences with the animals. The Elephant Passage is the best and you do not want to miss thier show.

Not as great as the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo down in the Springs but it still makes for a fun day! Make sure to see the shows like the Elephant and Sea Lion. Be wary of the food prices. Pack a lunch.

This is an incredibly interactive zoo!!! Fantastic conservation efforts and the human to animal experience was much more intimate than other zoos who are known for their obtrusive concrete barriers.

Lots to see and do. Be sure to take a map so you don't miss out on anything. Food on site can be expensive. There are free admission days sometimes. Parking can be difficult to find.

One of the nation’s most popular zoos, this City Park landmark takes you on a globetrotting safari. Go nose to nose with a polar bear, trade funny faces with gorillas and stretch necks with giraffes.
