    I love this place and there ice cream. Even the vanilla which you know could be easily be plain well not here. At joe's you can taste a rich vanilla flavor to me it's the best I've ever had.

    If you're not sure about a flavor, make sure you ask for a sample. I surprisingly have found really good flavors that I wouldn't have thought twice about!...Brain Freeze!!!

    Im from Philly so i'm a harsh critic. Its not Philly water ice but probably the closest youll get to it on the west coast. Joelatti is a funny play on Ritas gelati!

    They use real fruits for Italian ice cream(slurpy) - so many of them are tasty. But "real soft ice cream" looks like a soft serve but tastes like frozen whip cream (yuck!).. I go for Italian ice only.

    Not as good as Frostbites, IMO. I got the chocolate/banana Italian ice + chocolate ice cream. Next time I'll go w/ my heart and try the ice cream.

    Rainy Day 2 for 1 Special BUT keep in mind it has to be raining at the exact moment you order or no deal. Also, deal's only on their ice.

    Italian ice: good - watermelon, mango, yuk - blood orange. Joe latti's "Real soft ice cream" is like a thick whip cream, not a soft serve. Yuck! Avoid. "confetti" in Costa Mesa is way better!
