    Love this place for hiking. It's 8 dollars to get in. You can picnic, you have to bring your own grill. Dogs are allowed in that area. On the trail too. There's a small beach too. Awesome views!

    Amazing selection of hiking trails. We chose a few that led in a loop (total of 7 miles) and had a great time. Explore the path leading to Gertrude's Nose. A bit difficult, but definitely worth it!

    What can I say I love Minnewaska! No matter my mood I can go here and get recharged and feel better. I enjoy seeing the waterfall, lake, endless trails and stunning views.

    Gorgeous place for a hike (and swim) in the summer or fall. In the winter put in some snowshoes. Gorgeous vistas with the Catskills in the distance!

    The loop is easy with a ton of great views but crowded. Trails to the waterfalls aren't too bad. There are other trails just as relaxing but a little more difficult. Favorite place I've been all year.

    Use an app to make sure you are getting on the correct trail head. Look for Castle Point. The views are spectacular from there! Well worth the hike.

    Beautiful scenic views, there is a wide two mile loop trail around the lake, $10 per car and worth it!

    Really fun hiking. Bring your swim suits. Lots of different places to take a quick swim in the lake.

    Tons of trails. You can make a hike as easy as you want or as hard as you want. The Gunks are beautiful!

    winter XC skiing & telemark skiing. well- groomed, scenic trails with gentle hills. Rent XC skis @ Rock & Snow in New Palt, and ask for trail conditions there.

    I only passed through this park on the way north. It's definitely worth visiting... even if it's just a drive through the mountain.

    Cheaper to enter in the winter comparing with the trail cross street. If the $15 per person is too much for you cross street, come here.

    Tons of hiking from short trails to long. In the summer, there's swimming in some of the likes. Keep an eye out for rock climbers.

    If you're a dog owner, consider taking your dog hiking at this park. The views are amazing. Great place to take your girlfriend. Just saying. ;-)
