    Nick's serves the best American diner food to be had in LA. Portions are enormous, everything is fresh. The benedicts here are out of control. I like the "Day Lights" section for a smaller breakfast.

    An old-school authentic roadhouse-style diner. Opened in 1948 it has a single U-shaped counter with seats & serves only breakfast & lunch. Cash only.

    Old school, cash only diner on the edge of Chinatown. The servings are huge and the coffee is good. Eggs and ham or scrambled eggs rancho style are my usuals. Pancakes are also brilliant.

    Friendly people every time I come here! That applies to both staff and patrons, mostly local, working folks. U-shaped counter seating, simple diner fare and cash only. Opens early (5:30 am)!

    Make sure to check out the specials, best Eggs Benedict in town, usually 6 to 8 types. On the weekend get there before 11:am if you don't want to wait.

    Best sausage I've ever had at a restaurant. Order the French toast "light"! Amazing. French toast is big enough for 2, BTW.

    the staff were very nice but the food was kind of overpriced for the quality, which was lower than i expected. it has mostly outdoor seating which is fine but it smelled like sewage outside :/
