Easily one of the best real barbecue joints in all of Portland. The service is good and all the food is good. I have yet to try something I didn't like.

Specials happening everyday. I think the best ones are Tuesday and Saturday. Ribs, brisket, mac and cheese, corn bread, potato salad and pecan pie, to share, for three. Heavenly!
If it's you're first time, you should go with the Pit Boss. It's a well-portioned sample of their best meats. One of the only places I ask about their specials. Come hungry.
There is not a bad choice everything is outstanding.. Dessert is a must even if you get it "to go"...house made banana pudding or the pecan pie is f'ing amazing!
They don’t have the breakfast tacos anymore, but they do have ‘La Taq Takeover’ in partnership with their next door neighbor. Currently on Mondays and Tuesdays, 4-9pm.

Consistently superior 'que, esp the pork ribs - great "bark" - and brisket (moist but fatty, natch). Super salty tho otherwise delish cornbread & collards. Relocating to Killingsworth mid-Feb 2011
