Not the best airport but quite OK for South East Asia. The BO'S Coffee shop in T3 is good. Big water bottle of Evian for US$1.7 - cheap for an airport. +fastest #WiFi I got in The Philippines so far!
Try Japan airlines if you wish to fly to Narita or for a connecting flight going to states. Japan airlines is really accommodating and will serve you with warm welcome hearts.
Pack your own sandwich if you are a vegeterian as none of the restaurants have vegeterian options. The best i could find was cheesepimientosandwich and cheese in philippines is not really cheese.
Airporttaxis are safe & comfortable. They try to charge double their expensive rate to go to Pasay to Partas bus station. You have to know the price is P480 for that short distance.
As of November 2018, NAIA 1 is getting better and better. It is already a far cry from what it once was. It more well-lit, airconditioning is good and seats are comfortable. Renovation = good!
It's a no "wang-wang" zone, people! DYI, a "wang-wang"er is someone who thinks they're too important to wait in line like everyone else. I like this sign. Everywhere should be a "wang-wang"-free zone!
While waiting for your Flight, you may stay at PAGSS Lounge. With the state-of-the-art facilities that they have, your stay will surely be going back for the Excellent customer service that they offer
Очень много магазинов и кафе на отдельном уровне. Из кафе надо обязательно идти в Mary Grace. Если долгая пересадка, купите доступ в Pacific club lounge всего за 1200 песо с человек - там и поедите
Not a great airport, if you really have to pass through it make sure you travel on Philippinesairlines for transit, they sure do make your life relatively easier in transit
When passing through immigration for foreign passports, look for the line with more than one officer in the booth. Otherwise expect a long wait. You can thank me later. 😊👍
Do online check in! If your airline offers online check in, it usually has a shorter line. You need to ask around where that line is because everything is a maze.
Like Gate133, this is easily packed-up as this serves the flights of Cebu Pacific Air for remote boardings. Listen very well to the announcements as it costs too much if you just missed your flight.
If you're flying Singapore Airlines it's always best to check-in online. There is a separate queue for web check-in that is much, much shorter. In fact oftentimes there is no one in line at all.
Long queues going in due to scanning of the luggages. Thats before check in. Remember this is an OLD airport. Must get your shoe polished inside the terminal after check in. My tradition anyway.
Check-in Early to avoid long queue in check-in counters and Immigration counters. Stay in PAGSS Lounge while waiting for your Flight:) more freebies with state-of-the-art facilities! :)
It' possible to pay by bank card. That's good if you out of local money. Можно заплатить карточкой и не грозиться сколько Филиппинок у вас осталось после отдыха. Хорошего полета!
Stay at The Sampaguita Lounge (just right after the Duty Free shops) for a quiet, relaxing space while waiting for your flight. Buffetsnacks with FREE WiFi!
NAIA Terminal 3 is a mess. Flights often switched gates. It's such a long walk too. But I like the multilevel parking. Very convenient. I always prefer the old Terminal4 bec it is small & hassle free.
The biggest question in MNL airport is always - trying to decide which terminal you hate the most. They're all pretty terrible, so the competition is stiff. I'll go for T4 followed by T3 arrivals
The free wifi seems hard to connect to, both my phone and laptop can't seem to log on to it. Invest in a data sim card if u need data like me. Affordable at 400p for 5days unlimited data w Globe.
The terminal fee is 550 peso or US$12.55 on August 30th, 2013. You can pay by cash or card. If you have only bill of US$20 or US$50, never mind, they could give you US$5 and some pesos as a change.
Летели из пуэрто принцессы в Макао, терминальные 200 песо с человека, оплачивали в ПП, в Маниле уже не просили оплачивать. Wifi норм, хватает на видео-связь, удобно и все есть.
A normal international airport, average.. you just have to keep in mind 1 fundamental thing, if you have a flight, go to the airport early, otherwise you can kiss yor plane goodbye 😉
arrive early for any flight, my sister insisted on me getting here 3 hours before my flight, there's a second security inspection at pre-departure and they check everything in your carry-on
If you have no access to airlinelounges, there's a lounge called club Manila that you can use by paying 650pesos. There's stablewifi here, decent food and drinks. Good investment for lots of waiting
Come early. No machines to print boarding pass or special counters assigned for bag drops only even if you've done web check-in&there's always a long queue.
Although the law changed in 2013 allowing the use if itineraries in mobile devices, it's still faster to enter the airport with a paper copy of your itinerary.
The East Wing entrance is closed for repair, go around the West Wing entrance...watch out for the minuscule sidewalk especially if you're using the carrying karts. Still as ugly as 10-years ago.
Self check in counters are obviously for passengers without check in baggages only!! Come on if u have baggages to be checked in of course you have to fall in line!!!! Common sense people! 😡😡
Formerly the Manila International Airport or Terminal 1. Designed... by Leandro Locsin, a National Artist of the Philippines for Architecture, it breached its 4.5 million annual passenger capacity in 1991. Improvements to the airport increased its capacity to 6 million passengers yearly.(Tampilkan lebih banyak)
