The Corner Room is a great place to eat. It is conveniently right off of campus, but escapes the feel of a dining hall. It gets busy on football and parent weekends, so check it out during the week.
The Corner Room's name has a classy sound to it, but the set up and food has more of a diner feel to it. The food is great and they have good breakfast deals, but it is not for a classy night out.
Didn't care for a lot of the food; French onion soup is great; Milkshakes made from creamery ice cream (enough for 2 people); grilled sticky is a must. Extra $ for fries w/ sandwiches; good breakfast
A Penn State classic restaurant . Hasn't changed much 40 years. Unbelievable cheap breakfast $2.95 for eggs, home fries and toast. Much better than the American Diner.
Service was so slow but we were comped because of the 1 1/2 hour wait but the food was first rate. Because the manager treated us so well, we would go back.
Monday pasta deal sucks. The sauces are bland and the breadsticks like rocks. Awful mopey servers just glower around. Not worth the "cheap" factor- go to Taco Bell and you'll get a better meal.
