Highgate is like you are entering another era. It has the feel of a village yet it is only 15 minutes by tube from central London. Kenwood house has a wonderful park and lots of great paintings.

This is one of the oldest book shop in London and it is brilliant! Hard to explain why it is so good, but there is a fusty smell of gorgeous books, a sense of history everywhere! Free Browsing!
The building is awesome and grand. It is likely entering a film set from one of Stanley Kubrick's films. The modern art range from Picasso, Dali and many great modern artists. Free to enter.

Cheyne Walk was home to many great writers who all seemed to love the Chelsea area. It is only a small road but the homes are really stunning, & you almost feel as though transported back in time.
I really enjoyed the beef burger here, juicy, fresh and smelt delicious. The fries with melted cheese and truffle oil is strong but addictive. Cheap way to fill your stomach for a whole day out.
