Great and amazing 6D Motion Rides while wait for (connecting) flight at AMS. It's in Lounge 2 upper level, and next to XpressSpa and Network Bar. The rides last for 5 minutes, the experience for ever!

So if your layover is more than 5 hours, you can easily take the train to city center (9EUR) return ticket. If 24 hour layover, you can stay in YOTEL inside airport for 90 Euro.

Be prepared for a long walk if you're connecting from an international flight to one within the schengen region, but take advantage of the shops along the route.

スリープするたびに接続が切れる無線LAN、遠いゲート。楽しいショップは多いですがトランジット時間が短いと不便です。トランジットアワー・待ち時間が長い人向けの空港です眠る。

If you happen to seal your suitcase padlock key in your suitcase (like a fool *ahem*); there's a wonderful man at Seal n' Go with a huge set of boltcutters down near desks 15-17.

Güzel bir Havaalanı. Büyük sayılır ve içeride kendinize göre dutyfree, alışveriş ve cafeler var. Rotterdam ve Amsterdam’dan direkt trenler havaalanı içine kadar geliyor. Ulaşımı kolay.

Впринцапе очень удобный аэропорт, нет толкучки, задержки багажа. Близко располагаются кассы по продаже билетов на жд транспорт, а так же много магазинов и ресторанчиков где можно дешево пообедать

Secret quiet spot: at the far end of section D (gate D87), there are reclined seats, an amazing view of the runways, and NO people. Very odd; very nice.

Si tienen 8 horas, salgan a la ciudad , está a 15-20 minutos el ticket cuesta 5 euros. Wifi gratis las primeras 4 horas, buena atención del personal.

In a rush to make a connection - security screening has gotten more intense here. Take every cable, anything remotely "electronic" and any and all containers or they will completely search your bags.

The best part about the airport is the connectivity by foot, you don't need to catch a tram or bus to reach the other end.

Careful if you decide to try and buy something from one of the shops having just stepped off the plane. They're for "out going" passengers only. Very strange. Good airport overall though.

Want some tasty Dutch treats to take back home - buy all your non-liquids in the Albert Heijn supermarket near the rail ticket office. Cheaper than inside the departure gate area.

For those who suffered from cancelation of their flight by KLM due to bad weather conditions, don't wait in those endless lines. Call to your local KLM office if it is not Amsterdam! Good luck!

Find the outside terraces after you have cleared security and customs for some fresh air. Best of all is that smoking is not allowed there.

Большой хороший аэропорт. В районе лаундж зоны есть вело-зарядка. Можно с пользой зарядить телефон :) Интернет работает неплохо, но не везде.

Pegue a linha 397 e chegará em 30m. Ele é gigantesco e meio confuso, a estação de metrô é junta com o aeroporto e fica mais bagunçado ainda. Chegue cedo para poder se situar!

Connections through AMS can range from extremely close to a 15-20 minute walk away. Make sure to follow the directions when landing and find the correct spot to get your connecting tickets.

Overall a beautiful airport but expect long lines at the tax refunds desks, airline checkin, security and passport control. Took us the better part of 3 hours. Lots of walking.
