Do not be fooled by the size of the arepas. One is surely enough for you. If you're feeling extra fat maybe get two. Try anything with slow stewed beef with habanero sauce. Mouth watering!

Ms HeleneApril 8, 2013Home-style Venezualan here. Order the Corn pancakes with salty cheese and sour cream! Stewed chicken was ok but good arepa. Ask for the 2 home-made sauces, 1 mild and 1 spicy. Cheap and fun!
I can’t get enough of this place, if I lived close by I’ll be here all the time. I’ve tried other arepa places around but there’s nothing like Arepas Cafe 🤤
Erik CintronDesember 22, 2013A place that u can go for a quick bite or make a night of it. They have a lot of different arepas & beyond. Food was good & they also serve alcohol. It has a good happy hour and The staff was decent.

This is one of the hidden gems of Astoria. All of the arepas are AMAZING. The mini cachapas are the best app.
The arepa funghi is delicious, especially con queso. Don't miss the brown sugar lemonade!
